Our vision is a precise and enduring statement that reflects in general what we want to become. In this statement, four of the characteristics are mention explicitly. First we acknowledge the concern for the growth of our business by mentioning that we want to be the most recognizable company. Afterward by mentioning that we want to be customer’s first choice, we include customers and philosophy, because our aspiration is to be always the best in what we do. Finally, we end our vision by mentioning the service we offer, completing characteristic number two. For the rest of the characteristics, we consider that due to the fact that the vision should be a concrete statement, we could not explain them in detail, but we believe that in an implicit way they can be analyzed from what we establish in our vision.
MISSION
A mission is the statement which declares and organization's "reason for being". It reveals what an organization wants to become and whom it wants to serve. It is basically essential for establishing objectives in an organization and formulate the strategies to achieve those objectives.
Doggy Buddy will provide dog walks and additional pet services (2) to dog owners (1) in Bogotá (3). We commit to use the latest technological tools in dog caring and training (4), with the best trained employees (9) giving dogs the best experience that will enrich their quality of life (7); which will also provide the necessary profits for our success (5). We look forward to the best work environment (6) and commit ourselves to help non-profit dog organizations (8).

Our mission is based on what we want to do and who we want to serve, which is the first component of a mission and the most important for our company since our customers are our priority. Being our customers our most important component, we also feel important to mention our philosophy which describes what we really offer our clients (not just a service), and that lead us to have a competitive advantage. We, as an organization, decided to include the 9 mission statement components because we think all components are part of our daily process and are essential to achieve our goals. It is important for our company to apply in the mission the component of the service to align effectively our employees and future strategies with who we are; creating the best work environment, due to the importance Doggy Buddy gives to its employees. Due to the fact of what our service is about, employees and their work environment are fundamental parts to our organization too, making it necessary for Doggy Buddy to mention them as well. Also, it is important to mention the high quality technological implements we will use inside the company to provide confidence for our customers and by that achieving success. Last but not least, as we remark, Doggy Buddy is committed to help the non-profit dog organizations in and around Bogotá, and this is just as important as everything else and indeed is what we believe will serve the community we are in.
