5. CONTROLLING
The controlling activities consist in ensure that the company works in a perfect way, the company needs to have a control in quality, financial aspects , inventory, expenses, sanctions. These factors would tell us if the employees are fulfilling the standards of the company.
Financial control:
For financial control it is important to take into account that the company must be clear in what the money is being spent , an example of this is in service of hairdressing salon that will offer the dogs, to provide excellent service we need to buy the best products that could be quite costly and financial control will help us to optimize these resources and we will be able to reduce costs, other example would be the materials that we provide to employees for walking the dogs which could be straps, muzzles and bags.
Within the financial control also we have to see how much the company is spending on public services such as water and electricity, these are also expenses that the company must take.
This financial control should be done every quarter to see how the revenues of the company are and then make decisions on how to reduce costs.
Quality control:
For having a control in our quality service we are going to give to our customers a piece of paper for they tell us what they think about the experience for hire our service, this way we are going to know exactly in what specific points we need to improve as a company and also we can know if we are accomplish with our objectives of offering the best service of dogs care. Also for quality control we could send a little survey in which they are going to respond some question about the service, the problem of this is that not everybody going to respond the survey because they might not have time or they may seem tiresome. In the case of the walk dogs we are going to have a control with GPS not only because this is going to show us in what part is the dog’s walker but also the GPS is going to show us how many distance are walking the dogs during the service. With these we are going to know if our employee is been productive or if he is wasting the time.
Inventory control:
For the inventory control we are going to give to our employees a considerable quantity of products and tools that they are going to need for the best performance doing their jobs, the employees must optimize these tools and use the products in a proper way during the month.
Sanctions:
Our employees knows that a customer never ever, should not speak badly of us and be unsatisfied or make an inadequate use of the inventory because a mistake will have a sanction initially in terms of time but if a mistake repeats could lose the job or have a reduce in the payment because of a reduction in worked hours. Also if there is a serious misconduct the employee would be fired instantly.
Expense control:
For the expense control the top managers have to justify every single peso that get out of the business, and every two months make an analysis of that process and take the correspond corrections because of waste of money in no important thing for us.
